The Quay Zone
Girvan, South Ayrshire
The Quay Zone is now open for business.
These top four photos were taken in mid-May 2017 a week or so after The Quay Zone opened.
Firstly, looking from the south with the harbour/rivermouth in the middle distance.
From higher up and further back the whole area can be seen clearly and the smaller image below shows the clarity of the main photo.
Remember, these are only small sample versions of the much bigger images available to clients.
The logo on the front door. This is shown at the actual size of the full image.
Looking south-east with the town in the background.
Finally, from over the river, looking east and with the harbour behind. The moored vessel is the “Red Princess” owned by the Troon Tug Company.
This was when it was still under construction and as you can see this combined swimming pool, community centre, café and gym was nearly ready to open.
This was taken in early March, 2017 and we promised to get some shots of it finished and working as soon as possible after it opens. For once we kept our word - see above.
The harbour is on the left, the boating pond on the right and the buses in the top left are making their way north through Girvan on the A77.
This photo was taken looking south-east with the sea behind.
Always remember that images taken by 197 aerial photography are available for clients
in a very much higher quality than the small sized compressed images which are shown
as .jpg files on this website.
