This sculpture of a Clydesdale horse sits right next to the M8 motorway on the eastern
approach to Glasgow, at Junction 9 near Baillieston and Easterhouse.

You can see the slip roads to and from junction 9 of the M8, just to the east.

From up here you can see over the motorway to the edge of Easterhouse.

Ground level photos give some idea of the size and realism of the beast. It's
about fifteen feet tall and is made from galvanised steel rods of
various thickness, welded together.
