Generally, using images from this website elsewhere without obtaining a licence is a breach of UK and international copyright law.

Many of the images on this website can be licenced for use on suitable websites and in print provided permission is sought and obtained beforehand.

Any unlicenced uses will be traced and the infringing parties notified. In particular any commercial use will be acted upon vigorously. Using images commercially, by the very nature of the infringement, places a value on the photographs.

It's a lot easier and a great deal less stressful to obtain a licence to use an image rather than take a risk and infringe copyright. Send an email and ask - it's quick, easy and cheap.

It should be noted that licenses WILL NOT be issued for any use on any social media OR multi-site advertising websites due entirely to those sites' unreasonable terms of use and distribution.

Example sites include: Facebook, X/Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tumblr, Trivago, Airbnb, booking.com, Tripadvisor, all GoDaddy websites, the BBC, etc but there are numerous others.

There are also many other aerial images available which are not shown on this website. Please ask if you are looking for any alternative images or for images of other subjects.

While those licencing for website use generally require smaller images most are available up to original sizes of 5,000 pixels width and usually very much larger.

They are well suited for calendars, postcards, posters and magazine reproduction and are not low-resolution photos taken with toy cameras or amateur hobbyist equipment.

We don't use drones.   Drones kill people.
