Western Gailes Golf Club
This view shows the clubhouse, looking from over the dunes. You can see the clubhouse, the starter's hut, the first tee and the 18th green, as well as the practice putting green and a few happy golfers enjoying the sunshine.

Also in this picture are the paper mill at Irvine, the Hillhouse quarry on Dundonald Hill, and as you can see from the detail below, you can clearly see Dundonald Castle as well. The golf course on the far side of the railway is Dundonald Links.
Dundonald Castle through the haze. It's about 3 miles (4.8 kilometres) away. The full-sized images available to clients are about 70 times the size of the images shown here and as you would expect they show a great deal more detail than the .jpg website versions.
