One of the main advantages of our systems is the ability to move the camera platform around and to show the subject
from a number of different directions, heights and angles.
We'll illustrate the point with a few photographs of a footbridge over the River Doon to the south of the town of Ayr.
From the north bank of the river we start off with a view of the bridge and the surrounding area.
Then we bring the camera unit lower and take a closer view from the north.
You can see clearly that the camera is lined up to the exact position needed to get the views we wanted. If we need a photo from an exact angle then more often than not we can manoeuvre the camera into the exact position required.
Next, we let the camera rise again to 200 feet and walk across the bridge with the system hanging out over the water so
we're now on the opposite bank of the river.
We take the view from the west - closer in
and then from the south - higher up and further back.
These photos, and a good few others, were rounded off by taking ground-level shots of the advertising signs and
then some detailed photographs of the structure from underneath. The ground-level photos are not shown here but
form an important part of the coverage of any subject.
So, as you can see, we covered the subject from all the relevant angles.
Although we tend generally to show only a few views of each target on this website, be assured that many other photos from different heights and angles of many of the subjects are also available.
Whilst we specialise in aerial photographs, in the case of tourist attractions we also cover our chosen subjects from ground level.
