The Turnberry Lighthouse & Ailsa Craig
This is another unique view. This time of the Turnberry Lighhouse on its own. It's built on the
site of Turnberry Castle, the birthplace of Robert Bruce, King of Scotland.
This one was taken on a misty June afternoon from the edge of Maidens village by using a longer lens
than usual, an 85mm f1.8 in this case.
The whole peninsula looking over the Firth of Clyde and showing the golf course, lighthouse,
beach (often deserted) with from left to right the Isle of Arran, Bute, the Cumbraes and Hunterston on the horizon.
