Toward Point on the Cowal Peninsula
This is in Argyll & Bute a few miles south of Dunoon on the north
coast of the Clyde. The lighthouse and all the other building in the area are now used as homes, some being available for holiday lets.
This is from further round to the south.
The people in the photos are a family living nearby (hello folks!) and we'd
like to apologise for the gentleman's mode of dress. Red pyjama bottoms with yellow reindeer on them is not our style at all. (We're much more into pink fluffy bunny rabbits.)
Note the old foghorn on the roof.
We're unsure about the brown circle on the rocks in front of the building. Any information gratefully received. Click this text line to see pictures of Newark Castle, not far away.
