Toward on the Cowal Peninsula
Argyll & Bute, a few miles south of Dunoon on the north coast of the Clyde. This is the entrance lodge gate to Castle Toward, now an outdoor centre. (Toward Castle is in ruins nearby, hidden among the trees.)

Taken in mid-week when not only was there no-one there but it was also low tide as well. This is not good. Sorry.

and as you would expect they show a great deal more detail than the .jpg website versions.
