Stranraer, Dumfries & Galloway (once was Wigtownshire)

This is Agnew Park on the seafront at Stranraer.

Well, OK, the lochside. A boating pond, desert island, café and miniature railway all in one place makes a really popular spot for the locals and tourists alike.

And it's right next to a really clean and well-cared-for sandy beach.

To find this place go to the old ferry terminal and swim 50 yards west. That'll do it.
