The West Sands & RNLI Lifeguard Station
St Andrews, Fife
Looking from over the West Sands towards the Old Course Hotel.
The clubhouse of St Andrews Links is on the left and in the foreground is the Sea Shell Café. The middle ground is a practice putting green and in the far left is the Himalayas putting green of the Ladies' Putting Club.
In the bottom left is the LocalMotion Land Train waiting to take tourists round the town.
A panorama of the end of the bay with in order from left to right:
The Aquarium, the seafood restaurant, the British Golf Museum, Hamilton Hall,
The Royal & Ancient, Tom Auchterlonie's golf shop. Rusack's Hotel, Grannie Clarks Wynd
and the Swilken Burn reaching the sea.
Not a lot to see, is what we're saying here.
In passing, the parking on the West Sands to the right of this photo and beyond
is FREE - and there's lot of it.
A panorama of the entire area from the aquarium on the left all the way round to the Old Course Hotel on the right.

A shot from over the waterline to identify the location of the R.N.L.I. lifeguard station.
And a closer view.
