Welcome to St Andrews
The sign that welcomes visitors to St Andrews on the road into the town from the north-east. That's the 17th green (road hole) just to the left of the speed limit sign and the Swilken Bridge is nestling in the fairway just left of that. The golfers are teeing off on the 18th. The Royal & Ancient, Hamilton Hall and Rusack's Hotel are also all in the photo.  The images shown on this website are reduced and compressed .jpg versions of much larger images. These versions are ideal for showing the quality and character of 197 aerial photography's work. Full-sized files for licensed commercial use are generally of at least 5,000 pixels wide and as you would expect they all show a great deal more detail and clarity than website-quality versions.
