St Andrews Royal & Ancient
The venerable Royal & Ancient Clubhouse in St Andrews, Fife taken on Easter weekend.
A closer view.
This view has pretty much everything of interest in it. The Caddies' Pavilion in the bottom left, the new starter's hut and practice green just in front of the clubhouse, the British Golf Museum across the road with pedestrian access to the roof, the seafood restaurant (yummy!) and St Andrews Aquarium are all along the left hand side. The Scores is the street off to the top edge, with many popular hotels along it and it leads up towards the castle, cathedral and abbey. The professional's shop is to the right. The bandstand and war memorial are in the centre of the grass area.
These below are four earlier photos taken on film.
