The Castle Course
St Andrews, Fife
The clubhouse of the Castle Course at St Andrews, just to the south-east of the town.
That's the 18th fairway running across the foreground and this angle shows the natural shapes of the bunkers rather than the more formal smooth edges and straight faces as found elsewhere.
From further to the right (north-east).
This is one those subjects that would photograph a lot better in less harsh light.
A closer view which really shows off the unique shape of the building.
And finally from further back to show the 18th green and the immaculate condition of both the fairways and the putting surfaces.
Always remember that images taken by 197 aerial photography are available for clients
in a very much higher quality than the small sized compressed images which are shown
as .jpg files on this website.
