Two views of this tiny village on the west coast of Galloway,
just a few miles across the North Channel from Ulster.
We start with a view of the Port Logan Inn, just after lunchtime on
a pleasant day in August 2007.

This is a view of the entire main street, taken from over the pier and
looking east. You can easily see, on the far side of the Galloway peninsula,
the waters of Luce Bay and the Wigtown / Isle of Whithorn peninsula
just a few miles further on.
