This is an interesting building on the pier at North Berwick.
It's the main centre for the study and protection of seabirds in Scotland and has many fascinating exhibits as well as live cameras looking at the wildlife on the Bass Rock and elsewhere.
As per usual, the outdoor café is highly recommended, though perhaps not in the winter?
Education is a strong point of its existence and they cater for many school trips throughout the year and in this photo a crocodile of children can be seen entering the exhibit to the left.
Both of the buildings shown are in part solar-powered.
Even the outside of the centre is interesting with several sculptures and objects of interest for the casual visitor.
Always remember that images taken by 197 aerial photography are available for clients
in a very much higher quality than the small sized compressed images which are shown
as .jpg files on this website.
