west of St Monans in the East Neuk of Fife
These are the ruins of Newark Castle just to the south-west of St Monans in Fife, on the Fife Coastal Path.
Oddly, this area is also designated as a caravan site but there never seem to be any caravans in the area.
Maybe it's used for overnight stays by folks in camper vans?
The first two views above are looking down from quite close in, giving some idea of the structure.
For those who know the area the fences round the inland end have been edited out to help the visual appeal.
These two panoramic views, taken from the western side, are to show the dovecote and its relationship to the castle ruins.
Always remember that images taken by 197 aerial photography are available for clients
in a very much higher quality than the small sized compressed images which are shown
as .jpg files on this website.
