The Hydrogen Office
Methil, East Fife, Scotland

Hydrogen House, Methil, East Fife, Scotland

The Hydrogen Office. That's not distortion - the roof really is that shape.

This building's power comes from various renewable energy systems and stores any excess power as hydrogen in the small building in the foreground.

There's also a wind turbine and a geo-thermal heat recovery system involved.

It also helps to heat the Fife Renewables building next door.

That roof really is an unusual shape, but isn't being used for solar panels.

We're pleased to see that the world is finally catching up
with 197 aerial photography's low energy ideas. That said, not all the new ideas - wind farms, electric cars, glass recycling etc - are of any practical benefit or actually do anything to reduce waste or energy.

To paraphrase Douglas Adams “Keep banging the rocks together guys”.

Always remember that images taken by 197 aerial photography are available for clients
in a very much higher quality than the small sized compressed images which are shown
as .jpg files on this website.
