Jean Armour Houses & Mossgiel Farm
The first photo is of the Jean Armour Burns Houses, run by the Association of Glasgow Burns Clubs in memory of Jean Armour, Robert Burns' wife. They're built on land that was a part of Mossgiel Farm, which Burns worked for a few years as a tenant farmer.
The houses with Mossgiel Farm in the middle distance. The road through both pictures runs from Mauchline westwards to Tarbolton. The full-sized images available to clients are about 70 times the size of the images shown here and as you would expect they show a great deal more detail than the .jpg website versions. Standard images are 5,000 pixels wide and ~50Mb in size. Panoramas are much bigger. Click this line to view the Image Quality Sample page.
