Largs, North Ayrshire
Looking south with the RNLI station, pier and in the distance the marina, sorry yacht haven, Hunterston and Fairlie Pier. That's Ailsa Craig on the horizon on the right.
The boating pond at Aubury Crescent to the north of the town. Popular with model boat people on a Sunday afternoon.
The Cumbrae ferry from overhead. This is the “Loch Riddon”, the smaller of the two vessels currently used on this route.
In case you're in doubt about the name or the quality of the work here's a look at a detail from one of the above photos.
Finally on this page a church in Bath Street and in the distance you can just see The Pencil and the yacht haven. |
