The last remaining section of the original building has now been demolished.
As has the block of flats at the back left of the site - the north-west corner - as seen from here.
This closer view shows that the only part of the original hospital site left is a small section of the entrance building with some nice stonework over the gateway.

As you can probably see, all that remained of the original building until recently was the front wall and even that was in pretty poor shape with doorways knocked out and window mullions missing.
It had the look of a film set, a dummy wall with nothing behind it.
Always remember that images taken by 197 aerial photography are available for clients
