Fairlie Pier, Ayrshire (aka Fairlie Quay)
The chandlery and boats laid up for winter as well as the north end of the village. This is looking north-east and both of these photos were taken in early April. Those with a keen eye can spot not only Kelburn Castle nestling against the hills but also its rather interesting paint-job at present.
Looking more to the north with the Largs marina, the town of Largs, the Isle of Cumbrae and the Isle of Bute all clearly visible. The full-sized images available to clients are about 70 times the size of the images shown here and as you would expect they show a great deal more detail than the .jpg website versions. Standard images are 5,000 pixels wide and ~50Mb in size. Panoramas are much bigger. Click this line to view the Image Quality Sample page.
