Fairlie Pier, Ayrshire (aka Fairlie Quay)

The chandlery and boats laid up for winter as well as the north end of the village.

This is looking north-east and both of these photos were taken in early April. Those with a keen eye can spot not only Kelburn Castle nestling against the hills but also its rather interesting paint-job at present.

Looking more to the north with the Largs marina, the town of Largs, the Isle of Cumbrae and the Isle of Bute all clearly visible.
