South of Irvine, North Ayrshire
A panoramic view, looking south-east.
In the background are the Meadowhead paper mill, Dundonald village, the castle and quarry on Dundonald Hill and the radio mast above Troon. The A78 main coast road runs along behind the trees just this side of the paper mill.
On the slope of Dundonald Hill to the right is Highgrove House Hotel, above Loans.
Closer in. These were all taken in the afternoon in mid-March 2016.
Plans are underway to build a new permanent clubhouse - to replace the somewhat temporary one you can see in these photos - as well as 24 private houses and a number of guest rooms.
From a little further back.
A section from one of the above photos to show Dundonald Castle in the distance.
It's about two and a half miles away (4 kilometres) from the camera location and shows the superb clarity of the photography.
The clubhouse on its own.
As the construction work begins and continues we'll update the photographs.
