The Carnoustie Golf Hotel (and golf course)

Taken in May 2008, these photos show a progression towards the
hotel, looking from the south-west.
In most of the photos you can see the 1st tee (this side of the hotel)
and the 18th green, with the Barry Burn running across the 18th and down
through the picture.
Carnoustie is on the roster for the Open Golf Championship.

As we get closer you can see more details of the many golf clubs
and societies with premises alongside the course.

As you can see from the clock on the front of the hotel (trust us, in
the full size image you can and we'll send you proof if you ask) these photos
were taken at around 3:15pm. Giant Rolex clocks are never wrong.

Along the hotel frontage and looking down on the starter's hut and first tee.

Finally, a panorama of the entire hotel complex.
This original image is nearly 8,000 pixels wide, pieced together from two full-sized
images. And yes, we can see the join, but we suspect that you can't.
