Irvine Beach Park, Ayrshire

As the area is up for redevelopment we thought a few images showing the
park as it is today might find a home somewhere.

This first image is of the southern section of the park, seemingly scheduled
to be a "world class" links golf course and hotel.
That's Western Gailes in the middle distance, Glasgow Gailes on the left (just
this side of the paper mill) and Troon is in the top right (to the south).

Looking north-west with the Magnum Centre and harbourside on the right.

North along the coast towards the old Big Idea (turned out it wasn't that big after all)
and the Ardeer peninsula, unusable in the main due to the residue left by the old Nobel
explosives factory.
